Most questions have answers, but the real elephant in the room at the moment is ‘what can’t Shohei Ohtani do?’
The Japanese two-position player once again sent the baseball fraternity into a frenzy at the World Baseball Classic with an incredible 102 MPH fastball to strike out Vinnie Pasquantino from Italy! It was also incidentally the fastest pitch he’s ever thrown in his career

“102 MPH FROM SHOHEI OHTANI. WBC on FS2” – FOX Sports: MLB, Twitter
Ohtani delivered a vicious fastball clocked at a mighty 102 MPH early in the second inning. Just a few minutes later, he followed it up by also laying down an incredible bunt.
Baseball fans were quick to applaud the Japanese sensation for his impressive plays, with the floodgates opening on Twitter once the videos went viral!
This fan could very well be right. Ohtani could just be the best ballplayer currently on this planet. His two-position prowess holds him in a league of his own and makes him almost untouchable.
That’s the question on every baseball fan’s mind right now. Ohtani continues to surprise everybody watching, and the sky is the limit for the Los Angeles Angels man.
With the current form he is in, Ohtani could very well be hotter than fire itself!
Well, players don’t choose when to throw their fastest hardballs, and it’s the same scenario with Ohtani here.
why is Shohei Ohtani out here throwing a harder fastball (102.0 MPH) than he ever has in his MLB career in a MEANINGLESS tournament? smh I am NOT enjoying watching the most talented player ever perform for his home crowd nope not at all this SUCKS

@MLBONFOX Bonds would have hit that 571 feet with that location
Shohei Ohtani could very well be the man to lead the Japanese to the WBC title
If it wasn’t evident already, this World Baseball Classic has definitely made it very clear. Shohei Ohtani was born for the big stages!
His excellent run against the world’s best competition and doing it all while under intense pressure to win it for his home country shows everybody exactly how much it all means to the young man. A leader both on the field and in the dugout, Ohtani has impressed once and for all with his maturity and leadership.
